Institutional Governance & Acceptable Use Policy

Terms of Platform Service.

Effective: September 2, 2026 Audit Cycle: 2026 Academic Year Active Standard

These Terms govern all access, offline modules, interactive calculators, review portals, and student computational resources across the Charger Tools academic ecosystem.

01 Acceptance of Terms & Scope of Service

By accessing, browsing, registering an account on, or otherwise utilizing any module, tool, game port, or review guide provided by Charger Tools ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our accompanying Privacy Policy, COPPA Compliance Statement, and FERPA Governance Terms.

Charger Tools is an independent educational utility network designed to support secondary and post-secondary coursework, algorithmic review (STAT), bell tracking, offline calculation, and safe interactive sandbox simulations. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue all access and use of the Platform.

02 Account Security, Authentication, & Anti-Credential Sharing

Users registering an account (@username and password) or accessing restricted modules via authorized credentials are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. You agree that your account is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, sublicensed, or distributed to unauthorized third parties or peer users.

All password credentials are protected using client-side Web Crypto PBKDF2 hashing (100,000 iterations SHA-256) and zero-autofill input sanitization pursuant to NIST SP 800-63B standards. Any unauthorized distribution of administrative bypass keys, elevated access credentials, or restricted gate tokens constitutes a material breach of this Agreement and grounds for immediate, permanent suspension.

03 Academic Honesty, Integrity, & Acceptable Use Policy

All study guides, practice question engines, and academic calculators (including the STAT examination preparation tools) are intended strictly for honest self-evaluation, concept mastery, and academic enhancement. The Platform strictly prohibits:

Using automated solver scripts during live, proctored in-class examinations without instructor authorization.
Submitting false, abusive, or defamatory entries through the Community Proposal and Forum system.
Attempting to bypass school district content filters or firewalls in violation of school district Acceptable Use Policies.
Conducting Denial-of-Service (DoS) floods, automated scraping, or stress-testing against Platform infrastructure.

04 Intellectual Property, Copyright, & Fair Use Exemption (17 U.S.C. § 107)

The original software code, user interface designs, custom mathematical algorithms, and documentation comprising Charger Tools are the intellectual property of the Charger Tools Development Team and are protected under copyright, trademark, and open-source licensing provisions.

All interactive historical game ports, emulation runtimes, and academic syllabus summaries hosted or linked through the Platform are provided strictly for nonprofit educational analysis, historical preservation, computer science pedagogy, and simulation purposes pursuant to the Fair Use Doctrine codified under Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 107).

Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), if you believe that any material available on the Platform infringes upon a valid copyright you own or represent, please submit a formal DMCA Notice of Infringement to our repository compliance coordinators.

05 Community Submissions, Feedback, & Forum License

By submitting feature requests, game suggestions, code patches, bug reports, or discussion comments through the Community Proposals Hub, you grant Charger Tools a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to adopt, modify, publish, and implement your suggested ideas without requirement of monetary compensation.

You represent and warrant that any content you submit is your original creation or in the public domain, does not violate third-party intellectual property or privacy rights, and contains no malicious code or harassment.

06 Administrative Authority, Maintenance Guards, & Account Revocation

Charger Tools administrators reserve the full and unilateral right, with or without prior notice, to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate user accounts violating these Terms, initiate site-wide maintenance shutdowns or module locks via real-time cloud synchronization, delete or moderate community submissions, and update, refactor, or discontinue any feature or module at any time.

07 Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Provision)

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Charger Tools and all associated services, calculators, games, and review content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We specifically disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular academic or technical purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all browser extensions or district-managed devices.
